A Letter from Pastor Aleksey
My dear friends,
I am glad to introduce Think Biblically Season 4! This year, we will focus on one of the most important realities in the Christian life: the theology of the gospel. Many of us know the basic message of the gospel, that God is holy, man is sinful, Christ came to save, and salvation is found in him.
But the gospel is not only something we believe in in order to be saved one day. It is the truth that must shape how we understand God, ourselves, sin, Christ, salvation, and every part of daily life. In this course, we will study the foundation and main elements of the gospel so that our understanding is not only intellectual, but practical, living, and deeply connected to our walk with God.
This season will be different from previous seasons because we will not focus on one book of the Bible verse by verse. Instead, we will learn how to bring different biblical passages together in order to see one clear picture of the gospel. The course will focus on five major elements of the gospel: God, man, sin, Christ, and salvation.
The goal is not simply to gain more knowledge, but to learn how biblical truth becomes the power that drives life: how it strengthens prayer, deepens joy in God, gives peace, shapes decisions, and teaches us how to respond to real situations with faith and obedience. This course is especially aimed at young adults, but it is open to anyone who desires to understand the gospel more deeply and is willing to study, think, write, discuss, and personally engage with the Word of God.
Those who register should be ready to take this commitment seriously. The course will meet once a month on Saturdays, include a small group meeting between classes, and require assigned reading, reflection, and participation. This is not designed to be a passive class where people only listen. It is a guided study where participants will be challenged to discover truth from Scripture and apply it to life. To register, please go to thinkbiblicallyclass.org, complete the registration form, and confirm your commitment to go through the course from September through May.
If you have an opportunity to be part of this class, I would encourage you to do everything possible to join, because understanding the gospel in its foundational truth is one of the most important things for life.
With service to Him,
Pastor Aleksey Kolomiytsev
