THINK BIBLICALLY | SEASON IV
Many of us know the gospel, but we do not always know how to live from it.
The truth can stay in our heads without shaping our character, desires, decisions, emotions, relationships, and daily response to life.
Think Biblically Season 4 is designed to help you go deeper into the foundational components of the gospel so that biblical truth becomes a practical lens for how you see God, yourself, the world, and every situation you face.
What this course is about
Think Biblically Season 4 will focus on the Theology of the Gospel and help you understand the meaning of life through five major elements of the gospel: God, man, sin, Christ, and salvation.
Instead of studying one book of the Bible verse by verse, like in previous seasons, this course will help you synthesize different biblical passages and sections into one clear & practical picture of the gospel.
The goal is not just to gain more head knowledge, but to learn how the truth of the gospel lands in your practical life and becomes the power that drives how you live every day.
The Gospel Elements
We will take a deeper look into the five main components of the gospel so that we can get a clearer, deeper, and more practical grasp of what the gospel is and how it shapes all of life.
Who this course is for
This course is primarily focused on young adults, including high school and college-age students, who want to understand the gospel more deeply and learn how to live from it.
At the same time, anyone who desires to grow in a deeper, more practical, and more biblical understanding of the gospel is invited to join.
Course Expectations & Requirements
Think Biblically Season 4 will meet for 9 Saturday classes throughout the year. During these classes, Pastor Aleksey will unpack the major elements of the gospel and help us take a deeper look at how these truths are revealed in Scripture and how they apply to real life.
Between Saturday classes, you will meet with your small group to work through questions, discuss Scripture, share what you are learning, and apply the material more personally.
This course will require regular reading, reflection, writing, and personal engagement. You should expect to spend about 30 minutes a day, or around 2–3 hours per week, preparing, studying, and working through the material.
This will not be a passive class where you simply attend and listen. You will be expected to think carefully, write down your thoughts, participate in discussion, and share what you are discovering through Scripture.
